Richard R. Coker, was born and raised in Hendersonville Tennessee, graduated public high school in 1989 and attended college at Volunteer State Community College until the spring of 1990.
In April of 1990, Richard started work at a local insurance agency, CPW Insurance Services, Inc., which was founded by his father in 1973 and previously called Coker Insurance Agency. Richard obtained his Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses in June 1990, followed by the Certified Insurance Counselor Designation in 1997.
In 2002 While working at CPW Insurance Services, Inc. Richard married Hendersonville native Kemberly Dabbs. In 2007 they welcomed their daughter, Reagan Coker to their family.
Richard continued to work at CPW Insurance Services until shortly after his father, R. Ray Coker, passed away in September 2017. On November 10th, 2017 he separated from what had become Coker, Wolfe & Associates, Inc. and started his own agency, Covenant Insurance Agency, LLC. in Hendersonville, TN where Richard continues to reside with his family.
